In the Personal Customers Finance team, we are committed to analysing and optimising financial performance for Personal Customers. Our efforts play a central role in driving strategic decisions that align with the bank’s goals and deliver value to stakeholders.

As our new analyst
You will be instrumental in contributing to performance monitoring, engaging in strategic dialogues with business units, and providing insights to senior management. Our work supports Danske Bank’s strategic vision and prepares us for future challenges. We encourage both self-directed work and collaboration, always aiming to discover the most effective approaches.
Your primary responsibility is to analyse and understand the underlying commercial and financial performance of Personal Customers and provide your view on the overall business performance together with your colleagues. Furthermore, your role is to:
- Develop and maintain coherent reporting as the foundation for our monthly performance follow-up, rolling forecast models and financial target setting, including business controlling activities to ensure financial accuracy
- Conduct in-depth analyses on performance-related topics individually and in collaboration with colleagues across the Nordics and other departments
- Facilitate effective dialogue and collaboration across the business unit and with key stakeholders, enhancing decision-making processes focused on value creation
Build and expand strategic relationships within the bank further, providing a robust platform for your future career growth in Danske Bank.
- Present analytical findings to senior management to help shape strategic decisions.
Who are we looking for?
You enjoy having a steep learning curve while developing a sound understanding of the business drivers in the financial sector. You are a structured, motivated, and proactive person with the ability to work in a time-sensitive setting, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality. We also expect that you’re fluent in English.
Furthermore, it is beneficial to have:
- A strong methodological approach to improve financial performance, strong stakeholder management skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience with controlling and/or business case development and benefit realisation/tracking
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ideally with experience in software such as SAP and/or SQL
- Fluency in a Nordic language
Additionally, you hold a master’s degree in finance, economics, or a similar field, and bring relevant experience from a similar position. Industry knowledge is advantageous but not a requirement.
