We are looking to recruit an ambitious student to the Securitisation team, which functions as an integrated unit of the Investment Banking & Equities franchise under the Nordea Large Corporate & Institutions area. Securitisation offers Nordea’s clients advice on and execution of asset-backed financing solutions and related advisory services throughout the full value proposition. This is an opportunity for you to join a market leading team at the heart of some of the most complex transactions in the Nordic region.
Securitisation is the practice of pooling cash flow generating assets and financing them by way of issuing securities funded by investors. The structures can be used to delink the performance of the financing from the credit quality of the originator.
Through the position you will gain valuable insights into financial markets and its mechanisms and be able to bridge the gap between theory and practice. You will be offered a unique opportunity to build a strong network by working with top professionals at a leading Nordic Investment Bank. The position is set to 20-25 hours per week.
Your future responsibilities:
- Purchasing new assets under a transaction and arrange the necessary funding
- Cash management issues and other ad-hoc tasks
- Maintaining models used to handle transactions we manage on behalf of our clients
- Managing formal investor requirements from monthly to quarterly reports on portfolio performance
- Client interaction
We expect you to grow in your role, gradually taking over more responsibility as time passes.

In order to succeed in this role, we believe that you:
- Are on your final year of your bachelor’s degree or have just started in a master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Strategy, Business Administration, or any similar field
- Are fluent in English with excellent spoken and written communication
- Strong analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail
- Have a structured approach to your tasks
- Finally, you are eager to learn and not afraid to ask questions and challenge your surroundings.
