Transformation Consultant – Digital Portfolio & Strategy

Shape the future of digital banking through strategic governance and investment decisions. As a Transformation Consultant in our Digital Portfolio Steering team, you’ll be at the centre of one of the Nordics’ largest digital investment portfolios, working closely with senior stakeholders and experienced colleagues to turn strategy and investment plans into clear decision material, actionable roadmaps, and measurable outcomes, while developing your consulting expertise in a high-impact environment.

What you will be doing

You'll join the Digital Portfolio Steering team within Group Strategic Steering, where we hold responsibility for strategic steering, execution, and funding allocation of all digital development across Danske Bank. Working alongside senior stakeholders and experienced colleagues, you'll collaborate with financial units, strategic programmes, Domain and Tribe leadership, and Executive teams to ensure alignment and transparency across our digital development portfolio. In practice, your work will include:

• Support strategic steering of Danske Bank's digital change portfolio through structured analysis
• Contribute to shaping the bank's digital strategic direction with leadership
• Facilitate prioritisation discussions by providing insights on initiatives, benefits, and dependencies
• Prepare clear, data-driven analyses that support transparent decision processes
• Challenge ways of working by applying an AI-first mindset
• Support continuous improvements to portfolio steering and strategic execution 
• Contribute to insights, reporting, and dashboards for executive decision-making
• Take part in transformation initiatives supporting planning and stakeholder alignment

About You

Whether you have recently finished your studies or are exploring a career change, you are keen to develop your skills and build a career in strategic consulting.

Need-to-have:

• Strong interest in organisational strategy and strategic investment decisions
• Collaborative mindset with ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships
• Strong analytical and problem-solving foundation with structured communication skills
• Interest in working with financials, data management, and automation tools
• Personal interest in learning and applying the latest AI techniques
• Interest in stakeholder management and clear communication
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken

Nice-to-have 

Experience with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Python) is a plus, as is the ability to communicate with both business and technology audiences and engage effectively with multiple stakeholders across topics and teams.
