Associate, Valuations and Financial Modelling - KPMG Advisory Academy 2027
Are you motivated by valuation and financial modelling? Do you enjoy turning complex numbers into meaningful insights? Join our team and help leading corporates, institutions, and financial investors solve complex challenges and make smarter decisions. Together, we create impactful financial solutions that drive value for our clients.
About the role
As an associate in our Valuation & Financial Modelling team, (part of our Corporate Finance practice), you will work closely with leading Danish corporates, investment funds, banks and other financial institutions. From day one, you will handle meaningful tasks, work together with specialists in different fields across the world, and receive practical training from experienced colleagues. We believe in learning by doing, supporting each other, and developing solid knowledge of valuation and financial modelling while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
You will have the opportunity to:
-
Build and review investment models for large-scale infrastructure and renewable energy projects, working closely together with investors, corporates, and banks (our clients).
-
Deliver independent valuations that support M&A transactions, management incentive programs, and complex legal or tax cases, where your analysis will guide decision-making.
-
Contribute to our renewable energy M&A focus, helping design value-driven solutions in one of the most dynamic sectors of today’s economy.
Perks of joining Valuations and Financial Modelling
You will join a motivated and collaborative team where you get to work closely with experienced colleagues from day one. We combine a clear professional focus with an informal and supportive team culture, where we learn from each other, share knowledge, and have fun along the way.
What makes our team different is the opportunity to work on complex and important financial challenges that require both analytical thinking and commercial understanding. You will get practical experience with real client challenges, contribute to important decisions and see the impact of your work, rather than simply supporting from the sidelines.
We invest in your development from the start. You will receive targeted financial modelling training, alongside training in a range of other relevant technical topics, giving you the practical tools and knowledge needed to build a solid foundation for a career within the team.
If you are curious, motivated, and enjoy leading your own work, while being part of a team that supports and challenges you, you will find plenty of opportunities to grow with us.
About you, our new team member
You enjoy working with people and building strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and cross-functional teams. You thrive in a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing, teamwork, and mutual support are valued. At the same time, you appreciate a positive and social workplace where professional excellence and having fun go hand in hand.
More specifically, we are looking for someone who:
-
Has a keen interest in numerical and logical reasoning.
-
Has a genuine interest in addressing complex financial challenges.
-
Is proficient in Excel and similar analytical tools.
-
Has a solid sense of ownership and an ability to work independently on assigned tasks.

Has an interest in igniting your own career potential within a service line committed to growth.
