Business Analyst - Identity Squad
Would you like to take part in developing the core of the core in Danske Bank? Do you like to be the middleman between IT- and business people, and are you able to speak both languages? Then you might be our new Business and Functional Specialist.
We work in a scaled agile set-up, with a mix of Business & Functional Specialists, IT Developers, IT architects, and others in a diverse culture. We are currently expanding in the Digital Core tribe in Århus where you will be part of a collocated domain team with stakeholders in Lithuania, India, and Denmark.
We are on a mission to modernize the core of the Danske Bank group, meaning the customer and account areas, which is some of the most crucial areas of the bank and somehow directly or indirectly used by every single customer in the bank almost every day. In this role, you will help develop the customer domain while also supporting and maintaining the existing solutions and processes that keep the domain running. The modernization is also partly an exercise of bringing the domains technically up to date, so some technical skill and interest will be a significant advantage.
Your daily work will include:
Your responsibilities will involve driving clarifications, documenting business needs, and coordinating with the stakeholders across the entire Danske Bank group. Furthermore, you will be part of investigating and designing technical solutions in cooperation with the business and IT developers including coordinating and facilitating activities.
You will participate and work in a squad based on the agile principles, where your responsibilities among others will include:
Translate business and technical needs into epics, user stories and help prioritize them in an agile scrum-based setup.
Assist the development team to deliver solutions that serves as business enablers.
Support ongoing maintenance, improvements, and clarifications related to the customer domain and its specific solutions.
Facilitate workshops with stakeholders, agile ceremonies, and other relevant activities.
Assist with stakeholder management across business and frontline areas.
Spar with Product Owner around the strategic direction of the squad.
A great match
We imagine that you have a strong foundation in IT or business or have worked as a business analyst or similar role for a couple of years. You know about abbreviations like SQL and API and are not afraid to venture into this space. You have possibly worked in an agile set-up and are an expert in clarifying and documenting business needs. And most importantly you are not afraid of reaching out for help, learning, and creating an impact. Finally, we expect that you are a great communicator both verbally and written in both Danish and English.
