Deputy IT Lead focusing on transformation programme, Asset Finance Tribe
Are you ready to help shape the future of asset finance at Danske Bank? Join our Asset Finance Tribe and lead vendor delivery for a major Nordic business and platform transformation.
We are looking for an experienced Technology Lead to help drive replacement of a complex legacy landscape with a shared Nordic leasing and equipment-finance platform. You will work with business specialists, developers and delivery partners in an agile tribe with colleagues across the Nordics, Lithuania and India.
The role as Deputy IT Lead
You will join the tribe leadership alongside the Tribe Lead, IT Lead and Tribe Architect, working closely with the Programme Manager to support delivery operations for the platform rollout.
Your focus will be on:
Driving the vendor relationship. Act as the main delivery contact and lead dialogue on progress, quality and contractual matters.
Holding the commercial line. Monitor SLAs, validate scope, challenge estimates and review invoices against delivery.
Managing dependencies. Coordinate dependencies across Group Credit, Group Finance and group platforms, escalating where needed.
Leading daily delivery operations. Drive communication, actions and blocker resolution while holding the vendor accountable.
Leading delivery teams. Squads working across Denmark, Lithuania and India.
This position is anchored in Technology and Services for Personal & Business Customers, and you will report to Søren Finsel Bisgaard, Head of Technology & Services for Business Customers.
Who are we looking for?
You have experience with vendor-delivered IT programme in banking, financial services or another regulated environment, and can balance expectations with a constructive partnership.
We expect you to bring:
Strong vendor and contract management experience.
Programme-scale delivery experience covering releases, deployments and dependencies.
Strong leadership skills and solid experience as leaders of leaders
Technical understanding to assess and challenge vendor designs and estimates.
Knowledge of leasing, asset finance or lending, or the appetite to build it quickly.
Experienced and confident in senior stakeholder management.
Comfort in an agile, international environment.
Fluent English, written and spoken.
