Equity Analyst (Danish Banks and Insurance companies)

Join Danske Bank's Danish equity research team as an Analyst covering banks and insurance companies. You will conduct in-depth analysis of Danish listed companies, building financial models and translating results into independent investment views. This role offers clear professional ownership and the opportunity to develop deep sector expertise while contributing to one of Denmark's leading research teams.

What you will be doing 
As part of our ambitious research team, you will, together with our Senior Analyst on the sector, take ownership of coverage for Danish banks and insurance companies, working closely with colleagues who maintain high standards for research quality. You will monitor companies and industry developments, engage with clients, and contribute to the team's overall research efforts while building your reputation as a sector specialist. Furthermore, you will:

• Monitor Danish banks and insurance companies and broader industry developments
• Build and maintain sophisticated financial models for covered companies
• Translate financial results and strategic developments into investment recommendations
• Gain knowledge and training from senior analysts in the department
• Communicate research conclusions clearly to clients and internal stakeholders
• Contribute actively to the team's collaborative research efforts

About you

• Strong analytical abilities with solid understanding of financial statements and valuation
• A clear interest in and understanding of equities in general  
• Genuine enthusiasm for analysing banks and insurance companies
• Curiosity and strong sense of ownership for assigned sector coverage
• Collaborative approach with high professional integrity
• Willingness to go the extra mile when required

Knowledge of Nordic and European banking and insurance market developments would be an advantage.
