FX Pricing DevOps

Join our FX Pricing team as we transform our infrastructure and migrate to the cloud. You'll be the technical backbone ensuring our trading systems are secure, reliable, and future-ready. This role puts you at the centre of critical financial technology that supports Danske Bank's foreign exchange operations.

What you will be doing

You'll work within our Markets Business Technology team, collaborating closely with developers, traders, and infrastructure specialists to maintain and evolve our FX pricing platform. Your expertise will be essential as we modernise our technology stack and enhance our operational capabilities.

• Lead our migration from on-premises infrastructure to AWS cloud platforms

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for seamless deployments

• Develop comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems using Grafana and Prometheus

• Manage infrastructure security including certificates, firewalls, and system hardening

• Automate processes and integrate AI solutions where they add meaningful value

• Maintain Kafka message bus systems ensuring high availability and performance

• Troubleshoot and resolve Java application issues in production environments

About you

We're looking for someone who's ready to take ownership of critical infrastructure in a fast-paced financial environment.

• Experience as a DevOps, Platform, or Infrastructure engineer in production environments

• Java development skills for debugging and library upgrades

• Proficient with CI/CD tools, particularly GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation

• Skilled in monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or InfluxDB

• Understanding of networking fundamentals, TLS certificates, and security practices

• Linux proficiency and scripting abilities in Bash or Python

Experience with cloud migrations and capital markets technology would be valuable additions to your profile.
