QA, Test & Release Manager - Asset Finance Tribe
QA, Test and Release Manager, Asset Finance Tribe
Join our digital transformation and shape end-2-end build-in quality.
We are looking for an experienced and proactive QA, Test and Release Manager to lead quality assurance, testing and release management for a strategic SaaS implementation. You will work across internal teams, business stakeholders and an external technology partner to ensure that solutions are integrated successfully, risks are transparent and releases reach production safely and predictably.
About the role
You will take ownership of the end-to-end quality, test and release approach across an iterative delivery landscape. Your focus will be to embed quality early, create effective quality gates and coordinate the people, environments and decisions required for successful releases. You will combine hands-on delivery leadership with clear governance and confident stakeholder management.
You will be a trusted adviser to programme and product leadership, providing fact-based release-readiness assessments and clear go/no-go recommendations. Success in the role requires close collaboration across business and technology teams, including teams in different countries and external suppliers.
Your responsibilities
Develop, implement and continuously improve the QA strategy, test strategy and integrated test plans.
Define test scope, coverage, entry and exit criteria, quality gates and release-readiness standards.
Coordinate functional, integration, regression, user acceptance and relevant non-functional testing across multiple teams.
Build and maintain the release roadmap and calendar, aligning delivery scope, dependencies, environments and stakeholder capacity.
Coordinate deployments, staging activities, cutover readiness, rollback plans and post-release follow-up.
Lead defect management and triage, ensuring clear ownership, prioritisation, resolution and transparent risk assessment.
Plan and facilitate test status, release-readiness and go/no-go meetings, providing evidence-based recommendations to management.
Collaborate closely with software suppliers, product teams, developers, architects, business analysts, testers and business representatives.
Provide timely, concise and accurate reporting on test progress, coverage, defect trends, risks and release confidence.
Drive continuous improvement of testing practices, tools, automation opportunities and CI/CD ways of working.
About you
Obtained relevant certifications like ISTQB, CSTM, CSTP or similar
Substantial experience in QA, test management and release management in complex technology programmes or product environments
Demonstrated ability to create and execute test strategies and test plans across multiple teams, systems and integrations.
Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle, agile delivery, CI/CD, release governance and environment management.
Experience with SaaS implementations and collaboration with external software providers.
Solid understanding of functional and non-functional testing, UAT, regression testing and defect management.
Experience using test and delivery management tools such as Jira or comparable platforms.
Strong analytical skills and the judgement to translate test evidence into clear risk and release recommendations.
Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder-management skills in English.
What will help you succeed
You take ownership, create structure and maintain momentum in a complex environment.
You communicate difficult messages clearly and constructively, including when quality evidence does not support a release.
You balance attention to detail with an understanding of the wider business and delivery context.
You build trust across organisational boundaries and are comfortable influencing senior stakeholders.
You promote a quality-first mindset while remaining pragmatic and focused on business outcomes.
What we offer
You will join a high-ranked digital transformation programme with the opportunity to establish strong quality and release practices, influence important delivery decisions and work with experienced colleagues across business and technology. The role offers broad exposure, meaningful responsibility and the chance to improve how complex solutions are delivered into production. We are located in Birkerød and expect physical presence at least two days weekly (Tuesdays and Thursdays).
