LC&I supports Danske Bank’s largest and most complex customers across the Nordics with their financing and transaction needs. Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) is the coverage team for these customer relationships within LC&I.

LC&I Capital, which is part of CIB, has the overall responsibility for optimising capital and balance sheet allocation while ensuring sound risk/reward both from a transaction and a portfolio perspective. We are a small team of analysts collaborating with relationship and product units on live customer transactions as well as analysing portfolio developments in order to enhance the risk-adjusted return of the overall business.

The team is based on Copenhagen and works closely with colleagues across the Nordics and other locations in a performance-oriented, flat-structured workplace, offering great opportunities to impact central business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

You will gain a strong understanding of wholesale and investment banking and will learn how customer needs are met in a market-driven environment. You will also become an expert in the key risk/reward considerations for efficient capital and balance sheet allocation within LC&I and through this be able to support key decision making.

Who We Are Looking For 

You have recently or are close to finalising your Master’s degree in economics, financing or similar. You enjoy being part of a dynamic environment and thrive in a job with both high degrees of freedom, but also high expectations. You are analytical, driven, a team player, curious and able to communicate complex messages in an easily understandable way. You have experience in working with data and spreadsheets, and either have or are willing to learn basic programming (SQL/SAS).
