In the Capital Exposure Management team, we calculate and report the some of the bank’s key capital requirements and allocate it within the bank, enabling performance management as well as regulatory compliance. By working with our team, you will gain in-depth knowledge of regulatory capital functions and enhance your analytical skills. Once you learn the essentials, you'll possess a highly valuable skill set, as capital is one of the most critical drivers of a bank’s profitability.

You will join a skilled and diverse team of 13 professionals who deliver strategic analyses of the link between Danske Bank’s capital structure development and financial performance. This enables Danske Bank to accomplish its strategic goals and prepare for the future. The team includes 3 colleagues based in Lithuania, one in Sweden and the rest in Denmark.

The candidate will: 

  • Migrate SAS scripts to Python and help enable oversight and improvements of data lineage.
  • Build automated monthly reports with change-driver analysis for financial metrics the team governs.
  • Use the banks AI tools to develop improve process documentation.
  • Develop the team’s current codebase governance through Github and version control.

What are the role requirements?

  • Experience with data analysis and tools. SQL, Python, and Tableau experience are meriting.
  • Ability to debug code and handle data confidently.
  • Analytical mindset, self-drive, and a willingness to take on responsibilities.
  • Higher education in Finance, engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Proactive attitude, sense of ownership, and confidence in decision-making.
  • Upper-Intermediate English skills (written and verbal).
